Any hopes of finding a decent gay bar or club in or around Victoria, B.C.? Along these lines, Is there anything comparable to a W Hotel in Vancouver? Appreciate all advice!

Well, I think that Vancouver, in a recent survey, came out as the gayest city in Canada so I don't think you should have any trouble there. Vancouver is a very modern cosmopolitan city, you shyould find everything you're looking for.

In the same survey, probably, what was being listed was gay couples as similar to married, but anyway, that's probably a pretty good indiction of the general population, and Victoria was in the top few cities.<BR><BR>I have no idea of specific hotels, bars, etc. but I'm sure you'll find them easily.<BR><BR>BAK

There's no W Hotel in Vancouver but the Opus Hotel in Yaletown seems just as hip but more original at http://www.opushotel.com. Still trying to get reviews of the hotel but will be staying there next week. Will report.

Victoria has 3 gay bars in town. The newest one is called Electric Avenue in the Swans Hotel, 2nd one is called Prism and is under the Best Western Carleton Plaza. The 3rd one is called Hush and is on Government Street.<BR><BR>I would recommend Electric Avenue or Prism for the ones to go to.
