Driving from Banff Alberta to North Bay Ontario
The next leg of my trip will be as per title so since I drove out # 1 Trans Canada Dryden Ont to Banff I am thinking of returning Banff to Drummheller to Saskatoon to Yorkton to Winnipeg.. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome. My reason for different route is to see different country. Within reason I am not concerned if it is a few more KM and hours. I really enjoy driving through different countryside. Leaving Banff May 07.
Also on the trip out I came through Northern Ont through Cochrane Ont and going back I am going down along Lake Superior.

Are you going to plan on some interesting stops along the way? The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller is fascinating, and the badlands around it very interesting.
Can't speak for the rest - how long are you going to plan on taking for this drive?

I do plan to stop in Drumheller and I will leave Banff early 07th and arrive Nova Scotia approx. 15th. My main reason for this route is to see Badlands.Won't do a lot of other stops other than to spend time with friends along the way, especially in area of North Bay Ontario.I drove out in the fall and travelled the hwy 17 through Cochrane Ont.etc and #1 through Regina ,Medicine Hat Calgary etc so just changing routes going back. will go along Lake Superior on way back also.
