Campobello Island/Lupine Inn in October
My husband & I are thinking of visiting Campobello Island early October. We are driving up the coast of Maine and wanted to end our trip here. We are bringing along our 8 year daughter. Has anyone stayed at the Lupine Inn? Found the Inn's website and it sounds cute. Any suggestions?

Yes, that's the property we stayed at. As I recall, the rooms were very spacious though rather dark. The whole property reminded me of a YMCA camp, very comfortable but a bit warn around the edges. Fortunately the restaurant experience was a good one for I do not remember many other dining options in the immediate area. From the website photos, I think that they may have updated somewhat in the past four years....... I believe that this property would give you a positive experience if you're not expecting "resort" accommodations.
