Hi everyone,

I am planning a trip to Victoria for three days two night on first week of May. We have our own transportation, can anyone suggest any good spot for a breathtaking photo? Would love to visit some of the hidden secrete spots as well, and those none-typical tourism literature.

Facing the Empress Hotel makes a beautiful backdrop. The marina that will be behind your back will also make a lovely picture.

We took a float plane ride and got some amazing photos from in the air. We did this after spending the morning at Butchart Gardens. The plane ride went over the gardens, so that was cool to see it from another perspective.

Beacon Hill Park has lots of great spots for photos as well.

Agree about the near-Empress Harbour shot (parliament buildings lit at night) and I will add the Juan de Fuca Strait from Dallas Road with the Olympics as backdrop. Just gorgeous.
