Banff / Jasper Lodging
Is there a search engine that will search for available lodging in these areas? (I know I've used "something" when we went to Edinburgh -- you type in when you want to travel and if anything is available, it pops up.) I'm hoping to make a last minute trip work and don't have a lot of time to search each individual hotel. Budget <$200 USD; will have a car. Thanks.

I also use www.kayak.com to do a quick search. I found last minute specials last time we visited the area.
There are also very affordable rooms to rent in Jasper. www.stayinjasper.com. Patricia Lake (not the Grove)is a very affordable place to stay in Jasper.

I like the HI Hostel just outside Jasper. http://www.hihostels.com/dba/Hostels...&city=CA|03016
Depends on how fancy lodging you want.

I'll second Patricia Lake Bungalows, as LindainOhio mentioned. There are some standard hotel places along the main road where the bus tours stay, if that is more to your liking. Patricia Lake is a few minutes away in a woodsy quiet area by the lake. You'll find all these on the many sites for accommodations in these areas.
