Auberge Du Lac Taureau? Opinions?
Found this in Fodor's "Escape to Nature without Roughing It" book (while looking for Vancouver Island or Nova Scotia ideas, of course). It's in Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Quebec.
The book makes it sound great for kids (I have four).
Anybody hear of it?

The website isn't a very good one - Fodor's went into detail about the place - complete with countless family activities and a "caribbean like beach".
I called the place and they didn't speak much English, so I didn't get too much information.

I saw nothing on this website that makes we want to say, "Let's take the kids!" In all the pictures I could only find one kid.
As for anywhere in Quebec to claim to have a Caribbean style beach, there must be a gimmick. Perhaps faux-white sand and piped in reggae.

There are nice sandy beaches by the lakes in Quebec ( it's not faux sand) but the water is freezing cold.......
This inn looks like a nice rustic lodge for a quiet retreat or few days of r&r.
I think you'll have a greater variety of activities in Vancouver Island though.
