Allergic Reactions Anybody?

Hello,
I just got back from a wonderful weekend trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto...But I also had a strange incident in Toronto, for which there seems to be no medical explanation...My question is, has anybody suffered excruciating pain in their feet/legs, and have gone into shock (shivering, freezing...,teeth chattering). I woke up to this Sunday morning 2am...My husband couldn't even place a finger on my legs, and although the room was a good comfortable temp, I was freezing...Literally...
Anyways, have a friend who works at a hospital and has been talking about a possible allergic reaction to something in the environment or maybe something I ate...

It's just you.

Hope you get better soon.

People are gettng rewgular colds, and a version of the flu, but the legs, well, that's not part of "what's going around" as far as I can tell.

Hi Ericadelafe:

This happen to my spouse when we were in New Jersey, by the Ocean. He got up one night with a flushed face and chills and an extremely sore leg. We couldn't figure out what it was.

Because we were at the beach earlier we thought that maybe he just got too much sun. But upon further investigation of his leg, we notice a slightly swollen bump on his upper thigh. We surmised, it was bite from a spider that may have been in the bedding. Perhaps this is what happened to you. Just a thought.

Sounds like a spider's bite but another possibility is a reaction to medication - do you by any chance take estrogen in any form. SEVERE leg cramps can be a side effect.
