Which Fiji resort for white sand beaches?

We are planning a NZ and Fiji trip for this time next year and are trying to narrow down resorts in Fiji. We want white sand beaches and clear blue water. The accomodations aren't a concern, the beaches and scenery are more important to us. Our budget for the Fiji portion can be stretched a bit so any recommendations would be great. Thanks

Most all the Islands in the Mamanuca and Yasawa group have good beaches (With a few exceptions)

On the Mainland if you want a decent beach, then you should head down to the Coral Coast.

If you search on the above as key words (Even on here) you will come up with some recommendations. The budgets for each vary dramatically. Top end resorts in the Yasawas go for over $1,000 a night. You can get a place on the Coral coast for less than $200. So it is worth narrowing down your criteria a bit, and search on here.

Personal favorite is Navini, FJD 490 - 610 a night per bure. White sand beach, clear water, lots of tropical fish, nice people.

Have to disagree re Coral Coast beaches - almost all are grey/non existant/much dead coral etc. Yasawas has the best beaches.

Best beaches:-
1. Oarsmans Bay Lodge, Nacula, Yasawas
2. Kuata Island resort, Kuata Island, Yasawas
3. Octopus Resort, Waya Island, south Yasawas.
All are budget resorts. And the beaches are fabulous. Octopus is probably the best resort for facilities but Oarsmans has the best beach!
