Two weeks in Fiji - trip report

Just got back from two weeks in Fiji. Awesome. First week was spent on Matamanoa Island - great resort for only 33 couples and no kids! Just love that part. So mostly honeymooners, people on their anniversary, etc. We just stayed in one of the hotel rooms and it was fine. Snorkeling off their beach was fabulous. Food was okay.

Second week was spent at a rental house on Viti Levu near RakiRaki, Starfish Blue. Second time staying there; great location - definitely isolated so if you wanted restaurants, shopping, etc. this would not be the place. You do have access to Wananavu Resort, which is about a 10 min. walk from the house. Great restaurant there and can use the pool and facilities.

Any questions, feel free.

Did you happen to fly Pacific Blue? We have a 4-day stopover in Fiji in August and will fly from Nadi to LA on PB. Just wondering about the flights.
Thanks,
Jane

Our flight is on Air Pacific, not Pacific Blue.
How was the flight?

It was perfectly fine. We did a round trip from LA. Left on time (there and back). Dinner was served, free wine , then breakfast about 2 hours prior to landing. We lucked out and the aisle seat was empty so we spread out over the three seats.

Coming home was the same; only had to squish in center seat.

Thanks. We have the window and aisle in hopes that the middle seat remains empty.
