Air Pacific question
Hi, I'm flying on AirPacific in a couple of weeks for the first time. going over my conf. I don't see seat assignments. I'm having trouble figuring out how to look up a reservation on their website.
Can anyone tell me if they have seat assignments or are they like Southwest? Flying from LAX to NAN, any tips?
thanks

Thank you. I did call and get seat assignments. I wish AirPacific was listed on SeatGuru.
I got seats 42 D&E going and 39 B&C for return.
Anyone really familiar with AirPacific's seating? Good, bad, indifferent?
Thanks

I flew them last year from LAX to Fiji. 32 inch seat pitch. Qantas has 31. They served a pasta dish with free wine after take-off and a hot breakfast before landing with sparkling wine. Good service in my opinion.
Reporting from Croatia. I'm sitting on the top of the boat and I found a weak internet connection.

Economy Seating goes all the way back to Row 68.The DE seating will be in the middle section of 4 seats and if I remember correctly, Row 41 is the first row of 4 in that particular mini-section.The BC seats would be the aisle and middle seat of the 3 seat side beginning on the left as you face the cockpit. If you are attending an event, and offered a cup of grog, take it with both hands, and down the hatch.I really enjoyed Fiji hope to go back.

BTW, hold on to your boarding passes. American Airlines will give you miles but you need to photocopy the boarding passes. I had to do this twice. The miles finally posted. Always good to get miles with American when you don't have to fly them.

Hmmm... thanks for the posts. I was contemplating what to do with the miles. I rack up points with Amex Membership Rewards. AA is not one of their partners. Of course, my points weren't of use to me on this trip because Qantas through Amex points can't be used for Fiji. (how convenient for them) you really have to strategize with these points etc. We're thinking of going to Prague and Budapest next year so I'm keeping that in mind for miles.
I am really looking forward to this trip. I will post when I return. I'm glad to hear the service was good on the flight. I am attending a seminar and there will be a traditional feast night.
