The Nunnery Melbourne

My family and I are thinking of staying at the Nunnery in Melbourne in August for a two night stay. We are a family of four and want one room plus a good location. What do you think??

If The Nunnery is as good as its website it looks ideal. It is near the Museum and good for dining out on Lygon St. Walk across Carlton Gardens to catch the free City Circle tram to wherever you want to go. Southbank is really more central, but there is nothing wrong with Carlton.

Two entirely different areas. For a single person St.Kilda may be the better option although be careful as it has some very seedy areas. Acland Street is great for cafes and cheap eats and some parts of Fitzroy St. are good and some bad. You do have the advantage of being near several beachside cafes although at that time of the year they could be a bit chilly. It is easy to get into town by tram or rail link.

Don't know the B & B but that area should be o.k. Southbank and South Yarra are other good areas.
