Sydney apartments
Has anyone stayed at Waldolf apartments or Hyde Park Inn, in Sydney, Australia?
If so, which is the better?
Also, has anyone stayed in any other accomodation in Sydney that is less than $200 australian dollars per night?

Hi Bendigo,
If you mean the Waldorf on Liverpool st then yes we stayed there for a week in December over New years eve.
We found it ok as a mid priced accomodation, location was good for Darling harbour and the transport links were ok too.
You might like to read my report from the place.

Not much of a view from the rooms though, and the pool was great on the roof.
Any further questions let me know.

The Hyde Park Inn are basic no frills apartments - on opposite side of Hyde Park to the CBD on the corner of Oxford & College Streets so you would have a 20 minute or so walk to the Circular Quay/Darling Harbour areas. However there would be plenty of buses passing by. They are situated on an extremely busy 5 way intersection so traffic noise is pretty horrific - ask for a high floor.
