Thanks Pat . I can feel the breeze on my face as I stroll that beach .Such a lovely part of Australia .And your view is definitive as far as I am concerned .

As with most places that are naturally lovely we seem to do our best to destroy them once everyone decides they want a piece of the action .How many hotels can one place sustain ?

They have done it in Melbourne with once excellent shopping / restaurant precincts like Lygon and Brunswick Streets .

Well, Im still focused on the S.T. Palm Cove . However, we saw some photos WWW, which OH reckons, give the impression that the Sea Temple could be rather too shaded.

Heathy, looks to me as if the photographs may have been take on a cloudy kind of day which you could be grateful for in April/May and still may even get!

Thanks Bushranger. OH thought the interior of the swimup rooms looked dark ( had read that on hotel review sites too ). Shade shouldn't really be an issue for this fair skinned family - shame about the hole in the ozone layer. We are now looking at a compromise of 4 nights at the Sheraton and 3nights in Palm Cove ? Sea Temple.
As an aside , YouTube is worth viewing for peoples holiday videos ! One couple give a guided tour through their apartment at the Sea Temple , Palm Cove.

Palm Cove is arguably my most favourite place in Australia. However as my last visit was 7 years ago any thoughts I have are probably seriously outdated.
I do hope it hasn't been spoilt.
