Moorea to Bora Bora/Tahiti Question
What is the best way to get from Moorea to Bora Bora? Do I have to go back to Tahiti and then fly to Bora Bora?
Also, has anyone ever stayed at the Sheraton in Tahiti? Is it nice or a waste of time and money? This is my honeymoon, so money isn't a big concern and privacy for the two days we will be there isn't a big concern either. We just want a nice hotel.

You can fly directly from Moorea to Bora Bora. It is a short flight, no more than approximately 30 minutes. Haven't stayed at the Sheraton, only stayed at the Sofitel, you won't spend much time in your room anyway. Just have fun, we had the best vacation of our lives, not one mishap.

Hi Jennifer,
Can't comment on the Sheraton in Tahiti but can recommend the Beachcomber Intercontinental. It is a good resort. We stayed 1 night in an Overwater Bungalow (the night we arrived) which was well appointed, however the water area cannot compare to the OWB's found on Moorea or Bora Bora. We were booked for a regular room but were given a complimentary upgrade to an OWB upon arrival. The better resorts on Tahiti are quite nice but the same quality of resorts on the other islands are so much more beautiful. We also returned to the Beachcomber on the day of our departure(dayroom) so we could just kick back and relax before our late evening flight. Spend the bulk of your time on the other islands and just bounce in and out of Papeete.

Just got back from Moorea and Bora Bora, spent Christmas and New Years there. Good choice. We took the flight to from Moorea to Bora Bora and as you have heard its about 30 mins. We also stayed at the Intercontinental and were pleased with the accommodation. After Morea and Bora Bora you will find it quite busy as the Islands are made for a quiet and relaxing time and a great place to honey moon. We ran into many. The beachs are paradise as you would imagine, scuba diving is great even if it would be your first time.

Hi Jennifer -
The Sheraton is a nice property. It is
conveniently located and would be a nice place to hang your hat on the night of arrival and the night before departure. Otherwise...spend most of your time in Moorea and ESPECIALLY Bora Bora!
From the Sheraton's swimming pool, I observed the most AMAZING view of the sunset I've ever seen! It was gorgeous!
