Melodie or Lizzy
I'm trying to contact regarding travel arrangements and lodging in Sydney. Most of the places I found earlier are already booked. Bushranger has been a great help but i feel as if I'm being repetitive. I thought I'd be able to book as I went but arriving on Feb 18th and still no luck with accomentaion. I have tried Altamont, Ardmore B& B many more. I e-mailed Melodie but have not gotten reply. I've seen Lizzy has good imput. Can anyone help????????

Margie, have a look at www.wotif.com.au
The website only goes to 15 Feb, but there are plenty of vacancies in the CBD, Darling Harbour and other inner city locations.

Have just pushed an older thread on Boutique Hotels up to top Margie and though some of those may be a bit higher than the Altamont rates, a couple there at good prices and ones like the Devere are listed on Wotif.
If you can make do without an ensuite, I can certainly recommend The Australian Heritage Hotel - real character but ask for a room on side away from the Harbour Bridge - be quieter and probably give a view out towards Opera House.
For something a bit cheaper http://www.glenferrielodge.com/ could be worth looking at, like a Guesthouse tucked away in a great area of Kirribilli Point, where our PMs and GGs Sydney residences are - just a short ferry trip across to Kirribilli Point from Circular Quay.

Hi Margie!
I was out (actually with Tourism Tasmania) most of Friday when you sent your email, and I don't work on weekends, but I responded to your email first thing this morning at 7:30A -- hopefully, you've received it.
Regards,
Melodie
