Melbourne - music bowl seating

Hi - Im loking at going to a concert in Melbourne at the Myer Music Bowl and was wondering how well you can see the stage from the lawn area. Also, does the seated area provide a superior view? Thanks for any help.

Does it matter?

You'll be there. Must you dot every "I" and cross every "T"?

Hi Chimani, In the past I have found this forum really helpful with things like recommending good seating spots for venues I havent been to before.

Hi LakesideChick, The Myer Music Bowl is at the base of a gentle hill. The seats rise up the hill, so the front row is roughly at stage level but 10 rows back puts you more at eye level with the performers. The quality of the lawn area varies greatly. If you're at the front of the lawn you'll still have a very good view but you can be on the lawn and literally have zero view (starting to head down the other side of the hill). If you want to be sure of seeing your show you should book a seat. Check this website for more info: http://www.theartscentre.net.au/disc...l.aspx?view=11. Cheers, Pumblechook
