Looking for very small snorkeling tour
Hi Me and my husband will be in the Cairns area in May (still havent decided on if we are staying in palm cove, PD). We want to snorkel the GBR but want to go on a boat that hols a very small number of passengers, like 10 or less. Does anyone know any boats that operate like this?
Thank you in advance!

The smallest boat out of Cairns of which I am aware is Reef Daytripper (max 20 passengers) and out of PD is Wavelength (max 30 passengers). If you want a boat with as few as 10 passengers, you may have to consider a private charter.
FWIW, I have gone out with Wavelength many times and it has always been a fabulous snorkeling experience.

Go to Port Douglas to enjoy the GBR,Daintree Rain forest and Mossman Gorge. It is a wonderful town with the 4 mile beach to enjoy along with great restaurants and shopping and nearby mangroves on the river-take the Lady Douglas paddleboat.
Personally,Cairns has a different vibe-kinda like Key West with alot of backpacker types. Palm Cove is really a small town.
Wavelength is wonderful for the Great Barrier Reef! It is a small boat with folks that great knowledge about the ocean. Quick Silver has massive boats (think tour bus crowds with hundreds of folks)and has a floating pontoon with a restaurant. You decide?
