Got the upgrade to LAX! I was the ONLY ONE who got it. It pays to be #1 on their list....
Now I'm hoping for an upgrade from LAX to ORD. I'm #1 once again. Crossing fingers...
Flight from SYD to LAX was very smooth. Hardly a bump. I did manage to get about 7 hours of sleep!
It's good to be back on USA soil. Thanks for following along on this "trip report"... if you could call it that!

Well, I was not so lucky for the LAX to ORD leg of my trip. I was #1 on the list, but that wasn't good enough. A paying passenger appeared an hour or two before the flt and bought the remaining seat in 1st class... drat...
But I'm home safe and sound, and I'm now enjoying downloading my photos. OZ was fantastic... as always!

At least the non-upgrade was on the shortest leg, Carol!
Glad you enjoyed your trip. We're making the long journey from PER-COS in a few weeks and I'm already dreading the flights, although I'd dread them a bit less if the return leg upgrades would come through.
