Hotel/Motel near Cairns airport

Looking for a recommendation for a nice hotel or motel that is close to the airport in Cairns. Needed for an overnight stay only. Many Thanks.

The Cairns Colonial Club Resort is quite close to the airport.

The very closest would be Lakes Resort at Edge Hill, which is also rather nice. About 5 minutes at most from airport, but there's loads of accommodation in Cairns city, from backpackers to 5 star, nothing more than about 10 minutes from airport.

I'd recommend the Lilybank B&B run by our own Pat and Mike Woolford. Near airport and Phoebe's fabulous Garden Room Restaurant
