Hello - I am familiar with 2 of the 3 hotels you mention, the Marriott and the Intercontinental. The Marriott is absolutley in the heart of Circular Quay so from a location standpoint is ideal, offering all the ammenities and services you would expect from Marriott. The Intercontinental, although still considered Circular Quay, is at the top of a rather steep incline, albeit short, but something to note in regards to access. What I enjoy about the Intercontinental, other than location, is the fact that it was originally the NSW Treasury Building - so it has some historic significance. The hotel also has a SPECTACULAR open air roof deck with unparalleled views of Sydney Harbor, including the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. Make sure you include 'Club' level access to enjoy this, and additional, ammenities. You also have ready access to the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. Either of these hotels will not disappoint. Safe travels. [email protected]

We stayed at the Intercontionental in September and were very pleased. The location was GREAT - only a short block from the Circular Quay and the Opera House - and next to the Royal Botanical Gardens. The views from the rooms are beautiful and the rooms very comfortable, although not large. The club lounge did have a spectacular view as well as enjoyable snacks, drinks and service.
