If it's the one off the main road that leads to Port Douglas and Cairns then I have been there. Very cool. They have all sorts of crocs, deadly snakes, Dingos, and Aussie types of animals. I also remember a fenced in area where you could go and hang out with Kangaroos. Definitely worth a visit. I am going on vacation to PD later in the month and can't wait to go there again.

I'm not sure if this is the place where a particular accident happened, but if so....

Watch out for those ducks.

Seriously, a poster went to P.D. several months ago and got bitten by a duck, and the wound got infected. She had to go to the hospital and her trip was cut short. The doctor told her 30% die from that kind of infection...1 in 3. Wow.

She had a good sense of humor about it (I always thought she should have said that Ozzie ducks are 5 feet high with fangs). Obviously this isn't an every day occurence, but be careful around all those animals..especially the furry cute ones!

We stopped in here for about an hour on the way to Port Douglas. Despite being a tourist trap type place, we had a great time. You can get right up next to the crocs (with wire fence in between you and their teeth) and the feeding of these mosters is impressive!
