Hi,<BR><BR>What do people think is a reasonable price to pay (in pounds sterling preferably) for a return ticket from london to Australia from say 1st October till 10th December (flexible)? I'd like to go to the east coast but don't know if it is cheaper to land in one city or another? Are some tickets cheaper to Sydney/melbourne etc.? Thanks for the help!

I shopped around on the internet and the best fare was at www.airline-network.com.au<BR>We paid about 630 pounds, including about 70 pounds taxes. You should be able to do better from London as there are more direct options. <BR>Also try the British Airways and Qantas web sites directly as they often have special fares.

I do not know if this will help you but Air New Zealand has an intenet fare of $749 US from Los Angeles to Sydney for travel in June and July. You must use this link http://www.quik-auctions.com/nz/specials/VINJUN1/ fare expires in two days good luck.
