Our favorite resort -- not just in Fiji but anywhere in the world we have traveled -- is Yasawa Island Resort. Fantastic accomodations on a lovely beach, incredible snorkeling, excellent food, helpful staff. One day after a morning snorkeling trip, they dropped us off on a deserted island. The staff had already been there to set up lounges, a couple of umbrellas, a picnic basket, and a bottle of champagne on ice. Romantic? You bet!

Hi Picknwildflowers....
Yasawa's
At Octopus Resort in Nov our Bure was beautiful, and the private outdoor shower was a nice touch (no airconditioner). The snorkling was GREAT! The food was um, ok. The people we met (fellow travelers) was incredible. We were kind of secluded to 100 ft. of beach area without a guide (or an excursion)
Mamanuca's
At Bounty Island we did not have to pay xtra for use of kayaks or snorkling gear. The snorkling was GOOD. We kayaked all the way around the island. We even kayaked to the next island. The food was GREAT.
We also walked around Bounty Island and through the garden path. The Bure was great and included airconditioning.
We had the time of our lives in Fiji, it was a wonderful experience that we both will cherish forever!
