Where to go on Fiji
Going to Suva, Fiji on business next week and have scheduled a few days to relax before and after. I need suggestions for day trips from Suva. Looking for great beaches, perhaps resorts that will allow us to pay a fee for day use.

If you are interested in the best snorkeling - straight off the beach - on the most beautiful island in Fiji, I can highly recommend Royal Davui Island - you can look them up on the net to see what I mean. Suggest you stay at least 3 days - not cheap, but well worth it. We have done most of Fiji and this is absolutely magic!!!

jdsprod, If you do not want to spend over a $1000 a night at Davui why don't you go to Bounty Island for a few days before going to Suva.
Bounty Island is in the Mamanucas, 1/2 hour from the mainland.
Snorkling is great (gorgeous neon blue starfish), the food is great, the staff was fantastic, equipment is free. It is affordable!

We stayed at the Bounty Resort. The Bures were rustic, with one exception, they had airconditioners. The airconditioners were a welcomed treat for us.
I did not see anyone diving at this resort.
A lot of snorkling and kayaking, but, no diving that I could see.
You might email them to ask about day trips diving.
