We'll be going on a Windstar cruise to French Polynesia end of February. One of the excursions people seem to love in the coral gardens drift snorkel. Are there private tours from the port that will take us there or do we need to go with the ship's excursion?

While I don't know the details of the excursions, we just did this snorkel and loved it. (We were on a private boat, so our captain took us there).

We actually liked it so much that we walked back to the beginning and did it twice. There was no one else there when we did it... which made it even more awesome.
