Business Class on Pacific Air ~ Do seats recline?

I also posted this on the Airline Forum...

Whew! Thanks to lots of Fodorite's advice, I was able to book FOUR (yipeee!) Business Class tickets using AA miles on an Air Pacific flight from LAX to Auckland, NZ (via Nadi, Figi). Just like everyone told me, no luck on Qantas...not even for TWO tickets in Business/First.

Now we're just curious...do the seats in Business Class on Air Pacific recline with a foot rest? You know...sorta like a recliner at home? Or do they just recline like a regular airline seat?

I've check Air Pacific's website and they just say there's a 57" seat pitch. I'm a dummy on this one...not sure what that means.

On the site, it also says '12" recline'.

The picture alongside the description also shows a woman reclining to what to me looks like 12".

I saw that, too, Jed. I can't tell from the pictures if there's a "foot rest or leg rest" like you have on a recliner at home.

Hopefully someone's flown on an Air Pacific 747/400 in Business Class.
Thanks!

Hello-try looking up the airline on seatguru.com.

Was able to use AA miles for business class seats from LAX to Sydney, Melbourne to LAX. Simply lucky. Seat guru has info on seat on different airlines.

Also try flyertalk.com.

Thanks fox...I did not know about seatguru...what a great website! Right now, they don't have anything listed for Pacific Air.

But, I'm able to look up other airlines!
