Beautiful Spots in Australia per Conde Nast

So what do you think? We spent 8-9 weeks there this past winter and barely made a dent

Indeed, yestravel! I too have only checked off a few even though I've been fortunate enough to visit three times. Looking at going back in '18 or '19. Interested in joining me?

Hi TP & Bokhara! TP, somehow I doubt I could keep up with you. You should travel with kja as she seems to go at your pace.

We want to go to NZ so thinking it might be easier to fly into Sydney on FF miles. Maybe in our winter 2019. Going to Southern Spain this Jan/Feb.

NZ is on my return list too. Southern Spain sounds lovely during our winter months; haven't been either.

It's a great list - no Kimberley places in it though!

It looks like a list from someone who has never been to Australia!
Bondi is not that beautiful and feeds off it's own hype to become an urban myth.
And they left off Noosa and included the Gold Coast. Please do not base your whole holiday on this list but work out for yourself where you would like to go.

Agree Tssmangirl - I'd have left Bondi & the Gold Coast off & added some more spectacular inland & NT places. I suppose CN has to cater for all travel tastes & these fit those who want to stay in the cities.

And, for every one who goes to Bondi & the GC, there's one less fewer at our favourite spots

Out of curiosity, Bokhara2 and Tasmangirl, what are some of your local favorites you would include that are not on the Condé Nast list. For example, I would add Kata Tjuta, Litchfield NP, Cradle Mountain, and the Tasman Peninsula Coast.

I've been to just over half, and that's with the benefit of holidays here since childhood. Its an eclectic list.

TP, the Kimberley region would be among my favourites, along with Nitmiluk NP (Katherine). The south coast of NSW and the Snowy Mountains are beautiful too.

Kakadu , Cape Leveque and 5 other places in the Kimberley would beat half this list - then again Kimberley has it all in my eyes !
