apartments on sunshine coast

I will be traveling with my wife to the Sunshine coast next June so doing the leg work now.
Anyone suggest 1 or 2 bedroom apartments with a view in the $500 to $600 price range
Cheaper if possible
I don't have any preferance to where on the coast & we will be travelling out of school holidays.
All suggestions greatfully received.

I would suggest you look at staying in Noosa Heads which is an upscale beach resort area on a good beach with fantastic restaurants, cafes and shopping.
The Seahaven Resort is on the beach{open the back gate and you are on the sand}and has a range of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments which would fit into your budget.Next door is the even more luxurious "Tingirana"also on the beach.
If you didn't mind staying across the road from the beach the Sebel Resort is very nice.
Do a Google search on the 3 properties above and you should come up with their websites.
Have fun!

Noosa is popular but I've always found it expensive and pretentious. Each to their own. There are loads of much cheaper but still nice apartments in the Mooloolaba/Alexandra Headland area. Do you mean $500 a week or a night and is that A$? If you are travelling outside of school holidays and outside Christmas and Easter you won't have any trouble finding reasonably priced accommodation.
A good website is www.sunloverholidays.com.au

I agree with Kay, I have used this agency and found them to be good value and reliable.
Hastings St isn't my choice for accom. I'm off to Noosa soon and staying in Noosaville which to me is just as nice and only a few minutes from Hastings st. anyway.
I also enjoy Argyle on the Park, they have nice apartments and are in Cotton Tree, which is central to all locations up and down the coast.

I have listed a few web sites for you to check out below.

I would suggest staying in Mooloolaba. There are a lot of beach front apartments in this area and it is more centrally located than Noosa. As another poster asked is that $500 to $600 per night or per week? And Aussie dollars or other?
