Hello , I am visiting Tokyo on Feb and I would like to know some good hotels . I would like a hotel near a station and an area that has restaurants

Do your research. Then ask a better question.

There are hundreds of "stations" in Tokyo and thousands of restaurants.

Also, what is your budget?

I've stayed a few times at the B hotel in Roppongi. Nothing fancy, but clean decent sized rooms. I really like the location; 2 minutes from both a JR and subway station, and tons of restaurants in the area.

Haven't stayed here for about 2 years, so you might check current reviews.

Still not sure about your budget, but I do like the Ginza area. There is shopping, reataurants, and a subway station. We stayed at the Marriott there, but it is now a Marriott Courtyard. It's a nice place, but nothing super-fancy.

I think it is difficult to answer your question because many, many areas of Tokyo are near one or more transit lines and many, many of them have restaurants. If you can narrow your criteria down a bit, it would help!

Tokyo is vast, much larger than most cities and with multiple "downtowns", not just one. So you need to work out which areas appeal most and then ask a narrower question. I cannot imagine how many hundreds of thousands of hotels in Tokyo fit your parameters as they stand.

I have enjoyed staying in Asakusa and Shinjuku, less so in Ueno and by Tokyo station. That's just my preferences.

IMO, no travel agent is necessary -- just some research that one can easily do with guidebooks and online resources!

As said, no need for an agent - just know what you want, and where you'll spend more time in Tokyo. Trains and subways go all over the city like a plate of spaghetti, so really location is not a big deal anyways.

I recommend the Aman since cost appears not to be an issue. Good hotel. Near Tokyo station which is a major train station with lots of connections and lots of nearby shops and restaurants.
