In addition to Hanoi, you can travel to Ninh Binh and Halong; Hanoi - Halong - Ninh Binh offfered by Vietnamtourbooking. If traveling by yourself, you catch a coach at Gia Lam station to Halong. Then, you take a cruise and kayaking here. Then, come back Hanoi to take a coach to Ninh Binh. In Ninh Binh, must-visit places include Trang An grotto, Biai Dinh and Tam Coc Bich Dong.
