What is the ideal 10 day India itinerary?
I would like to go to India with my husband around this time next year. Would it be possible to have a "meaningful" visit if we only have 9 nights/10 days? If so, what would be the ideal itinerary (i.e. not to miss places, etc.)? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

"Meaningful" that is a tough word. Depends on what you mean.
Rush through and see lots of stuff on a whirwind or take your time and see 2 maybe three places and get the flavor.
Well I will give you according to me:
Many people will say, see the golden triangle Delhi, Agra, Jaipur.
Agra is un-missable
You will likely land in Delhi & there is enough there that you should soak in
While I liked Jaipur, it can be missed IMHO if pinched for time.
I would choose time in Varanasi and tiger trek in Ranthambore over Jaipur.
Those four places are MORE than enough for 10 days.
do more on your next trip to India

Hello there!
Greetings from a American woman who lives in India!
You can certainly have a good trip in India for whatever the amount of time you have free for travel. Of course if you have more time you can either see more places or travel more lesiurely, but still with 9 nights you can certainly get a good taste of some of the highlights of North iNDIA.
In nine days you might consider the golden triangle, which is Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, and then continue onwards to Khajuraho and Varanasi too.
Of course this would entail moving at quite a quick pace, so would hve to plan wisely and depdns on your travel style too.
Or u can do the golden Triangle and also foray a bit more into Rajasthan, such as Udaipur or Jodphur. many options.
There are many choices for a 9 day trip to North India, and i beleive any trip to India would be a meaningful and wonderful one!@
Feel free to drop me a line. Happy to help [email protected]
