Indeed, today is the day! And what a lovely send-off. Thanks to you all.

I'm looking forward to seeing Pook, Karen and Bob, Beth and Andy, Fanny, and Lori in Bangkok. I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Here we are in the Thai Lounge awaiting our flight to Rangoon. I will check in briefly as I am able from Burma.

We were in the new Biz seats on United from Narita to BKK - a huge improvement. We both slept about 4 hours on that flight.
