Tomorrow we are Burma bound

Tomorrow we embark on our long-awaited journey to Burma. Many thanks to all who have offered information, help and encouragement. We'll check in with you as we can, and of course we'll have a full trip report and photos when we return.

Thanks for all of your good wishes.

We're in the process of packing today. I have a feeling I may need to unpack and take things out... I want to make sure to have some space for crafts from Burma.

I usually take an empty duffel bag inside my suitcase, as I never know when it will come in handy.

I really look forward to hearing about your trip. There has not been much posted here on Myanmar in the last couple of years before NYW and now you and Cheryl.

Have a wonderful trip!

Bon Voyage! I am sooo glad you fought the moral fight and came out for Burma. If you buy the traditional long skirt (lovely, decorative and very inexpensive at a local market) and wear it, it will generate access to the locals and lead to conversational adventures.
