Three day in Tokyo

Hi Guys,
We're stopping over for Three days on the return leg back to Melbourne in October(11-14).
Any tips/advice would be appreciated on how best to use this time.
Normally stay in good quality hotels, close to lots of eating/drinking spots after a hard days slog of playing tourist.
Thanks in advance people!!

I recommend putting "Tokyo" in the search box. You'll find lots of people who have asked similar questions. And they've gotten lots of answers.

When I was in Tokyo the month before last, I took the day tour (bookable at the hotel front desk) to Mt. Fuji: delightful! The mountain is impressive, the landscape in the area is dramatic, and the lake crossing was very restful.

There is so much to do in Tokyo. My husband and I were there for 8 days and didn't see everything we wanted to.
I would recommend Ueno Park. There are lots of things to see/do there and they are close together so you can do a lot in less time. There's the Tokyo National Museum, the zoo, Tosho-gu shrine, etc.
I would also recommend the Meiji Shrine. If you go during the weekend, you might be lucky enough to see a wedding procession!

Hi

My wife and I spent a few days in Tokyo last year. I have written a trip report with some pictures and links on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com/japan_tokyo.htm . Maybe you can find some useful info there. You can check out which weather you can expect on http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/w...674&refer=

Regards
Gard

I spent a week in Tokyo last month and I would recommend the Meiji Shrine, Asakusa market, Harajuku (for shopping and people watching) and the fish market (go early - subway starts running at 5 a.m.)
