loislanedc; Should you use the guide we used in Central Java, i would recommend you see what rates he can get for you at the Hyatt (very classy) in a Deluxe Room. As seniors, over 62, he saved us $74/night, On regukar deluxe rooms you might save $40/nighy.The fact that it is 10 minutes from town is really not an issue if you will use him for 10-11 hours a dasy he will pick you up in the morning and return you to the hotel at 5-6. The hotel has a pricey restaurant with good food that they say has A/C but the ceilings are so high though it is lovely it is warm. There is quite good local restaurant 100 yards from the hotel entrance that is good but you will noy find A/C except in your room. So we were so tired some nights we ordered great pan pizzas via room service.
