I use Smailings which is one of the biggest and best known. I don't know that I'd call ANY travel agent in Jakarta reliable, though. You really have to check everything.

What do you need a travel agent for? You can book almost anything on your own.

We are the big group of friends who intend to visit Jakarta ad Bali. So I think to book some services through a local reliable travel agent will be better. We will have not to take care of everything.

I usually use Bayu Buana which has branches in every major city in Indonesia, including Jakarta (several) and Denpasar (one next to the big Carrefour).

HI T_Hana. Bayu Buana website is http://www.bayubuanatravel.com/ They have several branch offices in Jakarta but the one I like is in Kemang. You can email them and see what they say...Jakarta is hard to get around in due to bad traffic so best to work with them by email and if necessary they can messenger tickets or whatnot to you..

We have used Floressa Tours in Bali, (send an email to Paul) He has helped us with hotels, tours, driver. They were excellent, we have been back 4 times in the last 5 years.

We just got back from our 5th trip to Bali - had a great time. Did you use Floressa Tours, they really are great. We also had Merta as our driver - again, 5th visit, 5th time with Merta.
