THE FUR WILL BE FLYING--Good News on the Panda front....
Just spoke to Andy Panda, who is thrilled by his new scans, which show no progression of his tumor. So it looks like Mr. and Mrs Panda are Thailand-bound in October...more to follow.....

Yes, we got great news today. The tumor has not grown with just chemo and the experimental drug. Could not be better.
This is an asia forum and the news announced by her Ekscrunchiness will allow Beth and I to Book a Thailand trip in November. WE're going to pop down to Penang (I know it's not in Thailand), up to BKK, down to Khao Lak and back to BKK. We're hoping to go for three weeks, longer than we've ever gone, but so what? Looking at some fares already. We'll use Air Asia for out intra-Asia flights.
We've already booked at the E&O in Penang, following the advice of many Fodorites and ignoring Bob's advice. A twofer.
The fur and Mrs. Fur will definitely be flying.
Thanks to everyone for all their support. It's of great comfort to Beth and me.

Woo-hoo!!! I loved reading this! Gpanda, I am so glad to hear that things are turning in your favour and you'll be headed to SEA soon enough. However, prior to your departure, you will be required to undergo the ritual <s>hazing</s>...I mean tradition that is known as the Annual Fodors Boston GTG. See you then!
