Thailand & Cambodia Travelogue

For those of you who enjoy reading trip reports then please feel free to read mine, and also browse hundreds of photographs.

I kept a diary for two trips. The first visited Bangkok, Ayutthya, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi and Phi Phi. The second we visited Bangkok, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and Hua Hin.

They can be found at

Loved reading your report. We had some of the same adventures but yours sounds so much more interesting. One of the highlights of my life was watching Tenko. It was never on at the same tiem, not often in correct order, but excellent. My now grown-up children talk about Tenko times in our home with mother in a trance and everything stopped until the program was over...then to big struggle to find when it would be on again. Our next rip is to Vietnam. Interesting contrast with Thailand.

Oh yes, I remember Tenko! It was a superb WWII prison camp drama.

I'm glad you enjoy the travelogues.

Have a fab time in Vietnam. I've not been yet but I imagine it being of a different flavour than Thailand.

Let us know how you experience goes.

Loved, reading your travelogue. I am going to Thailand and Siam Reap, this fall. I can't wait.

Thanks for the report.
