Tamara (Eurotraveler) ........
Hey! I see you wore a pair of Keen Venice H2s while in Siem Reap (I just bought a pair myself). How did those work out for you? Do you feel they were enough protection and support or were you wishing you had something sturdier or with more coverage? It sure would be nice to not have to pack my hiking shoes, just for a few days in Cambodia!

I answered this on the other thread but will elaborate here for you.
My Keens offer lots of support and they are extremely comfortable! It was like wearing hiking boots but they are so much cooler.
We did pretty major hike while staying in Chiang Dao. Up and over a very steep mountain, through thick brush, etc. and they were ideal.
I recommend leaving the hiking boots at home. You won't need them.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the reply Tamara! I had received a lot of input from others, but you were the only one who actually had real world experience with the same shoes, so I really wanted to hear from you. I appreciate it and will leave the hikers at home
