I'm planning a week-long trip to Sri Lanka following a week of diving in the Maldives. It's for two of us, with an independent itinerary. I'm getting quotes from several companies--does anyone have any experience with Sri Lanka in Style, Red Dot (I've seen the posts on this board for them), or Ceylon Tours LTD? The transport costs are varying wildly. Or, does anyone have any good recommendations for driver/guides? Thanks much.

Ceylon Tours anyday, top notch local outfit, they have their own cars too I believe.

We used Boutique Sri Lanka and they are a class act. Sri Lanka in Style is also excellent. When we checked Red Dot their prices were higher than Boutique Sri Lanka, but others have had good luck with them.

We also had good luck using BSL for hotels. And prices were lower than Red Dot.

Have used Red Dot. Did check prices with Boutique Sri Lanka and they were much more. Kathie had the opposite experience.
You should check prices with a few companies as this can vary. Red Dot did make a mistake with my booking, and did compensate me because of this.
