You are right, orgy7. Phrom Phong is the Emporium mall skytrain stop. It is also one of those shopping malls that connects to the skytrain walkway. It is two stops from Nana, going towards On Nut.
I love the top floor of Emporium because of the Emporium food shops. We bought some very interesting items to take back to our room for snacks.
Jim Thompson has a small store at the Emporium mall. Also, there is a Greyhound Cafe, one of my favorite lunchtime places. I like the "sandwich in a bowl" as it's just the right size lunch when one is busy shopping.

Lcuy:
Yes the Calypso cabaret are the Ladyboys. They have a website- search on Calypso and you can reserve your seating ahead of time without using a credit card. They have a seating plan- ask for a front row seat in the middle.
Be sure to take your camera. After the show they line up as you walk out you can get you picture taken with them (tip them a bit). Its a great show- skip the dinner show option - do the cocktail show. The show is $25 with one drink.I think it starts at 8:30 pm. The Asia hotel is connected to a skytrain station so you walk off the train and right into the hotel.
I would advise picking up/paying for your tickets a day ahead just to ensure no problems.
