Singapore Zoo, Night Safari or Jurong???

We'll be in Singapore briefly on our way home, having two full days to entertain the kids. We adults have been to Singapore before and all we wish to do is show the kids a good time.
Question: Should we take them to the Day Zoo or Night Safari or both. Thought we'd do the highlights of Jurong for half a day or would it be better spent at the zoo??

Thanks

nzers

There are special package admission rates that u can check out as well at this link
http://www.zoo.com.sg > Admission Rates

Personally, I love the Zoo and the Night Safari. Because the Night Safari opens only at about 6.30pm, its best that you go to the Zoo in the afternoon after lunch. You will prob spend about 4 hours at the Zoo which then you will be just in time to go to the Night Safari. The Zoo closes at about 6.
The Zoo and the Night Safari are located just next to each other whereas the Jurong BirdPark is on the other end of Singapore and I would advise that it should be left to visit on one day itself and not on the same day with the Zoo or Night Safari.

Have fun!

I have not been to the zoo, but the Night Safari is amazing.

Beware, if it is raining in sheets, the Night Safari won't open.

I have not been to the zoo either but to the Night Safari as well...It was awesome..I would do it again!! I also just loved the Jurong Bird park, but I have a pet bird, so it was right up my alley!! But i would recommend both of them!!

It seems to me that you can visit a zoo just about anytime, anywhere, but the Night Safari and Jurong are something a bit more special and so are more likely to stick in your kids' memories as "what we did in Singapore".

Thanks for your replies. I might try the afternoon at the zoo & evening at Night Safari - then if we still feel like it, we will head out to Jurong the next morning for a few hours.

Excellent!

You might also want to consider Sentosa Island. It's not something I normally recommend for adults visiting Singapore, since there are many other cultural and historical things to see that are more interesting. But kids love the cable car ride over the port to Sentosa from Mr. Faber. Once there, you have quite a few attractions from which you can choose.

We have been to the zoo several times and think it is the best we have ever seen. I like it better than the night safari but I think that the suggestion to do both is good.
The bird park is an all day thing. You could go out early and have breakfast with the birds. They have a good show and the breakfast if quite good.
Sentosa is not just for kids. The Underwater World Aquarium is amazing and, as someone mentioned, the cable car ride is fun.

Thanks for your replies...

One more thing - has the aquarium changed since we were there 10 years ago? I hadn't put it on our list as I didn't think it was worth it, but kyoub mentioned it is amazing?? Yes, a trip on the cable car is a great idea!

Thanks again
