Singapore Airlines
Hi! I've heard glorious things about Singapore airlines service and all thier awards. Yet, I've also heard that this is geared towards the business/first class traveler and that thier economy seats are quite small!

Any plus size people care to comment about thier comfort level in coach? Yes, I'll try for a bulkhead, or an empty seat next to me, but, can't rely on that! Flying from San Fran to Bali. Thank you.

Singapore Airline in Economy. You'll get champagne, personal TV, good quality food but the leg room and such are pretty much the same as other airlines. Service will be better than most other and the movies are the latest available - much faster than the other airlines.

My favourite, if flying in economy, is the economy deluxe offered by EVA airline. Only a little bit more expensive than economy but much better seat recline and space. A lot of other airline like British Airways have copied this idea, I think the call it "World Traveller Plus".

Singapore Airlines' economy class seats are not any smaller than any other airline... I find that if you ask nicely at check in to accomodate you (i.e. with bulkhead / aisle) they usually try. Also, go for an inside aisle - if you're travelling solo greater chance for an empty next to you as opposed to window-side aisle where more likely than not you'll be next to a 2-some travelling together.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I was able to get an exit row aisle, tho even if the seat next to me is empty, the armrest doesn't go up. Oh well, can't have everything.

I didn't go with EVA's Evergreen Deluxe (which I've heard is great) because I'm cashing in some FF miles.

Now, if I could only lose some weight, it wouldn't be such a problem!

Happy travels everyone!
