Shopping for duputtas
I will be in India in December. It comes at a convenient time because there are several Indian weddings sheduled here in the US that I will be attending. Can those of you who know the shops in New Delhi recommend places that will have duputtas that are heavily embroidered or high quality to complement silk salwar chameezes that will have minimal embroidery? Thanks.

Try a boutique called Tulsi - specifically the one in Santushti or in Haus Khaz Village. Great antique heavy dupattas. Go to 1, MG Road the mall - loads of designer boutiques there, sure you will find something - they ahve a Tulsi too but I prefer the stock at the other 2. Santushti also take a wander - loads of boutiques.

Thanks for the info. Can you give me an idea of what you'd expect to pay at Tulsi or Shantushti and are these fixed price shops? Sometimes shops have signs saying fixed price and then they bargain when you start to leave. Thanks again.
