Seiyo Ginza Hotel feedback

Has anyone stayed at this hotel.
What are your thoughts?
We have stayed at the Palace Hotel several times and thought it wasn't as centrally located.

(sorry if I re-posted- didn't specify posting into Japan forum)

Hi

The rating on TripAdvisor is very good: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...ure_Kanto.html
I did Tokyo a couple of years back. Maybe you can find some useful info in my trip report with pictures and links http://gardkarlsen.com/japan_tokyo.htm . Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions

Regards
Gard

We have stayed at the Seiyo Gjinza 3 times, the last time being 18 months ago. It is very well located and the service is excellent. However, the rooms are looking old and tired and in need of redecoration.. This year, we tried the Peninsula and were very pleased. The only criticism we had was that it was not small and personal like the Seiyo. Enjoy your trip.

Thank you for the feedback.
Gard, I have read your trip report which was excellent and helpful.
Just unsure of staying at the hotel, especially re: having the 'worn - needing renovation' comments.

I have stayed at this hotel several times on business trips. It is very nice and in a great location. Great bed, AC, and quiet. Very reasonably priced given the location. The rooms are small but that's pretty much true for all Japanese hotels.
