Romantic Phuket restaurant?

Hello

I'd like to book a restaurant for dinner for me and my husband (both in our early thirties) and have narrowed it down to:

- Silk (Surin Beach)
- 360 Degrees in the Phuket Pavillions (Layan Beach)
- Mom Tri's kitchen (Kata)
- Jazztaurant (Kata)
- Twin Palms
- Indigo Pearl

If you've been to any of them, can you let me know whether you'd recommend it or not?

Thanks!

I'd recommend Mom Tri's Kitchen in a heartbeat! I've not been to the others, but I'm glad to see the Kitchen on your list of possibilities. It's a really excellent restaurant, and yes, it's romantic.

i too loved our dinner at mon's tri kitchen....

its semi-outside, just above the water washing up on the cliffs, great food, delightful service, good wines if you like...

it was the best meal we had in phuket

Thanks - I've contacted Mom Tri's to see if we can book a table. Perhaps we will go to the jazz place afterwards.

I think we will also book Black Ginger at the Indigo Pearl for our last night.

Thanks for your input!

For fantastic "royal" Thai cuisine in a beautiful setting, try Ban Rim Pa set high on a cliff overlooking Patong beach. Very popular, make sure you book.

BRP is good and view good if you get a good table, very expensive, I haven't been for several years as the last time I was sick after eating there. Probably just bad luck but once that happens you tend not to go back.
I still like Old Siam at Karon, although across from the beach lovely views at Sunset and good food, part of Thavorn resort.

Thanks! I've looked at the Baan Rim website and it looks good. Do you know approx how much main courses are as I couldn't see any prices.

Ban Rim Pa, is of the highest quality. Expensive, but not overly-so by European standards. Very good food. If a meal is not what you want, then non-diners are welcome at the piano bar.

Well worth a visit.
