Ridiculous Titles

For some reason, the titles of every post are now elongated and cannot appear in total in the box on the right. This is not true for the other Fodors forums. Anybody else having this problem? Has Bob sabotaged the forum in his absence?

Andy, It's the spam post below where the person put the URL in the title. Hopefully, the editors will delete the spam soon and all will be well.

Fodors to the rescue. Thanks. Now, what can you do about revoking Bob's passport?

Sorry about everybody--- I will bring this up again in our next tech meeting. As I understand it, it might be easy to put in a character limit so that the line breaks when someone does do this.

He means "left".

Katie has removed that offending thread, so it's not an issue anymore.

Of course, I meant left. I only missed by one. I also put a post on the lounge and it was quickly fixed.

Somehow, both Kathie and Rkwan understood my confused post. This does not speak well for either of them.

One can't help but be impressed not only with Gpanda's directional prowess, but also with his keen grasp of things technological. Those three or four years in One-L were invaluable.

I thought that the only direction (or maybe position) Gpanda knows is "left".

My place in the space-time continuum is uncertain. We are endangered and must keep on the move. This can be quite disorienting.

Sort of like The Great Wildebeest Migration, I guess.

Exactly! A panda in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by a greater force. Reality is an insufficient force.

I'm going to spend eight very long days with him in Bali, I can use the break.

This should be amended later today so that long titles with no spaces do not "break" the page/lefthand column, i.e. you won't have to scroll to the right to read all of the messages.

Thanks Katie. I note for the record your correct usage of "i.e.". A lost art, e.g., Bob's posts.
