I need some suggestions on where to go!!! Okay..so she has confirmed she will be available for 2 of the days we are in BKK...We want to go to the Floating Market and she has made other suggestions, but most of the things we have done before..What would you do in combination with the Floating Market (and not the Rose Garden)? Also, do you think we need her for 1 day or 2?? Will we be fine on our own to tour around BKK to see Grand Palace, Klong Tour, Jim Thompson House, etc...or would it just be better to book her to take us around BKK as well?...thanks.

lots like her for around bkk as she stremelines things for you and provides the a/c car and cold water for a break in between sites...you could do more in one day than on your own...

river kwai in addition to floating market is what i did, also visited a pottery kiln which was very interesting and the wood carver which was moderately interesting..

Make sure you differentiate between Ratt and the other drivers/guides that she uses. We reserved her in March and then in December she sent another person, Ton, in her place. He was good.

Well who knows for sure but in her email this is what she said....
"Yes, I will service you on 30th March. I still free on 31st March too"...

In my emails to her Iv'e noticed and had confirmed that when she says "I will service you" it means that Ratt will be the driver. When she says "one will service you" it means that she will have another person doing the driving that day. When I have requested her on a certain day that she was not available I would cancel her out for that day. She will let you know what days "She" is available if you ask her. I think alot of the "growing pain" problems her business is having at the moment is due to miscommunication...IMHO. She speaks and writes in three different languages Thai, Chinese and English...I guess I would get confused once in a while

Not to hijack this thread but... we're considering using her for our visit in April. My problem is that we'll have four people in our party. Will her car hold four comfortably? We're average sized Americans - ~150 pounds or so.

In her email to me she said up to 4 people Asia Size!! So whatever that is!

Four non-Asians would probable be too tight in her car for comfortable touring - especially if you are headed out of town.

I believe she told us that she has a van available, if needed. There may be a higher charge, but it would be well worth it, I think. Ask her to send/reference her fee schedule.

She took us to the porcelain and wood factories after the Floating Market. Really liked the former. There are actually two porcelain craft-sites. One exquisite but very expensive and another across the road where we purchased a piece.
