Pon Heary-Hotel Booking in Siem Riep

Following the recommendations of this forum, we've booked Pon Heary as our guide when we visit Angkor Wat/SR in December. In addition, she has offered to book us at very good rates at the Pansea. Has anyone else ever used her for booking hotels? How was it? Thanks.

She was my guide when I visited Siem Reap in late 2003. I trust her recommendation, and I have stayed in the Pansea hotel in Bali which was very nice as well, so I think if she could get a good rate, you should go for it.

I;d like to hear from you if you decide to do this. I am planning a trip for October and was leaning towards the Pansea. Please let me know what rate she quotes you for which accomodation type, how the hotel confirmation works, etc. Thanks!

The Pansea and the Victoria are the two hotels we're looking at. I just E-mailed Pon Heary to inquire concerning exactly how the arrangements would work. I had a negative fantasy image of arriving at SR and no hotel had been arranged. While I'm sure we could still work things out, I'd hear about it endlessly from Bob (RhkKmk).

Andy, just wanted to let you know that we have also booked Ponheary as our guide for next February. We are also using her to book our room at the Victoria - major savings over direct or hotel websites. I assume that since this is an old post that you know that she is liable for the booking if you don't show up.

She also booked my airline tickets from Cambodia to Vietnam. I got a great price and I found her to be very reliable.
