Please help with info on Singapore history and places of interest

Hello to all,
i was wondering if somebody could give me a short history report (just a few lines)of separately Chinatown, Little India and Arab street (lets say 10 lines each), also tell me the most important sites of chinese, malaysian and indian interest and also refer to the most interesting dishes. But all in short because i am getting lots of info which is more confusing me than helping me.
I would really appreciate some help!! Thank you in advance!

Er, don't you think you should be doing all the research and writing yourself?

Ofcourse I will be doing it but i am trying to figure out which for example are the most popular chinese dishes in singapore. How do i find that in a list of 50 different kinds of food? There is a lot of un-necessary information. Can somebody underline the basics for me?

Research. Google. The answers are out there. My thoughts are that you can use this forum to help you with your essay but you should not be handed the answers on a plate. Sorry.

There have been so many books and articles written about the food in Singapore! What about starting out with a guidebook to the country? Or the "Lonely Planet World Food Guide to Singapore and Malaysia"?
Do a search on:
